Description
The main goal of this project consists in the development and test of an integrated control system in order to solve different problems appearing in the management of complex industrial processes. To achieve this objective, work will be made following three major lines (non-linear predictive control, fault detection, expert supervision) that will be linked in order to obtain an integrated control system that works in real-time. The developed algorithms will be simulated and tested on a pilot plant and finally applied to the control of a real complex biotechnological process (waste-water treating plant).
