Desenvolupament d'una metodologia integrada i compartida per a la quantificació de les condicions de formació de roques cristal·lines

The main common goal is to set up a work methodolgy through the development, optimization and use of a shared geological software. The computers of the petrology groups working in the UAB and UB will be connected in order to increase their efficiency in general and in their specific subprojects 1 and 2 to be developed inside the frame of this co-ordinated research project. The project will share a common methodology to: a) improve the simultaneous resolution of geothermometers and geobarometers and the graphical representation of results; and b) develop a specific software to construct phase diagrams in multicomponent systems. This methodology will allow to quantify the P-T conditions of different metamorphic rock types.
