Project Details
Description
The main purpose of the project is to develop new strategies to obtain embryonic stem cells (ESC) using two different approaches: by removing a reduced number of cells that allows keeping the viability of the embryo, and from blastocysts generated by nuclear transfer (NT) in chemically enucleated oocytes. (...) Finally, this project is proposed as a natural extension of the project BIO2005-04341, lasting one year, provided as an economic bridge while this new application was presented.
