Project Details

Law-making principles, and law-making technique in particular, have been of major interest in Europe since the seventies. An improved technique implies a more precise and economical use of legal language, a sistematic and division of the more coherent ruling texts, and a more adequate use of the law-making technique instruments, such as definitions, remitments or general clauses. The study of these subjects together with the control of rule practicability ("ex ante" analysis) and of the implied objectives' after-enactment ("ex post" analysis) may positively contribute to the control of the so-called "law-making inflation" and improve law andruling text quality.
