We study games and institutions from a strategic viewpooint. We try to overcome the rigid separation between what is cooperative and what is non-cooperative and mix both types of considerations. The implentability cooperative objectives and the social consequences of non-cooperative processes are examples of questions we ask both for abstract games and for specific institutional contexts. The latter include large markets, voting situations, firms and different governmental policies.
