Description
The aim of this project is to analyze the reciprocal influences among the unespecific (personal competence) ans specific (self-efficacy, incentive value) mechanisms of perceived control, and the emotional processes. Also, the project is aimed to determine thje effects of these factors on physiological reactivity and coping strategies to stress, departing from previous findings of our research group and others. Five laboratory experimental paradigms would be used in order to verify the hypotheses: biofeedback, /perceived control/stress experimental paradigm, Stroop task, emotional induction using the International Affective Picture System (IAPS) and submaximal effort probe on treadmill
