Dynamical systems are one of the basic tools for qualitative and quantitative understanding of the mathematical models of experimental sciences. Almost all of them can be formulated by iterating functions or difference equations (discrete dynamical systems), or by using differential equations (continuous dynamical systems). The objective of the project is the progress in the knowledge of the dynamical systems in the following areas: 1. discrete dynamical systems: a) periodic structure of some classes of functions in dimension one and greater than one; 2. continuous dynamical systems: b) qualitative study of systems of polinomial differential equations, c) qualitative theory of some problems in celestial mechanics.
