Project Details
Description
This project tries to develop a technological process, which has to permit to obtain integrated optical devices on planar substrates. Firstly, the design of such devices will be performed from an optical view point, studying possible interactions between confined radiation and environment (resonant and non-resonant processes). In the next step, devices will be made using silicon technology, and, after optical characterization, by deposition of sensitive membranes the response from environment will be sensed. A multidisciplinary group has been formed to develop this project. Membres of this group have wide experience in all research lines of the project (optics, technology and chemistry).
