Project Details
Description
EU social policies aim to reduce poverty and social exclusion in Member States, making social protection policies that address vulnerable groups critical. The EU-funded EUROSHIP project will focus on three groups of EU citizens that face the risk of social marginalisation and poverty. It will investigate the impact of social protection systems, digitalisation of services and political opportunities of action on youth at risk, precarious workers with health obligations as well as old and disabled citizens with care needs. The project intends to formulate proposals for efficient policies through the combination of data, diverse methods and a wide range of scientific disciplines. It will offer understanding on the impact of social rights on the lives of EU vulnerable citizens.
