Project Details

Description

We are looking for our work's culmination, began in 1994.After having devoted several years to the writing of the most complete catalogue of the Latin Epigraphic Poetry in Hispania (Republican beginnings to 711 A.D.), having compiled all its comprehensive bibliography, and having adquired all the related secondary bibliography at this time available, we started the autopsy, edition and commentary's phase. At the present time, we still have ca. 70% of our identified material to be definitely processed, in order to obtain the CIL XVIII, 2's redactional cards. This will be (absolutely speaking) the first fascicle (devoted to Hispania) of a new Corpus Inscriptionum Latinarum volume, n.XVIII = Carmina Latina Epigraphica Orbis Romani.
