Project Details
Description
The Short-Story has been one of the most widely-spread genres since the XIXth century. However, the existing research studies do not examine its unique characteristics-so distinct from other narrative forms-nor outline the importance it has had in the Spanish literature from the 1850 to 1900.
This research project aims a creating a bibliographic catalogue of short stories published in the second half of XIX century. It will contain a data base about short volumes, and his authors, together with the bibliography about this genre in this period. The result will fulfil a bibliographic gap in the contemporary Spanish literary history
