(...) These three points are the main objectives of the present proposal. The main objective from a theoretical point of view is to characterize Z\sub 2\nosub Z\sub 4-\nosub linear codes into the well-known families of Hadamard and Reed-Muller codes. The main objective from an applied engineering point of view is to use the Z\sub 2\nosub Z\sub 4-\nosub linear codes and the \i LFSR\i0 to develop appropriated algorithms to establish new choices in the fingerprinting process and in the digital fountain concept, respectively. Finally, the main objective from an applied mathematical point of view is to exten the MAGMA system to support new families of codes and new methods develop by members of the project.
