Project Details
Description
This proposal is focussed to the development of new materials, methodologies and techniques for enhancement of the performance of different types of advanced analytical bioinstrumentation. Especifically, the issues planed to develop are a) biocomposites for the use of amperometric biosensors in non-aqueous media, b) moleculary imprinted conducting particles modified biologically for automated analytical biosystems, d) genosensor arrays, by planar techniques, as a model for "lab-on-a-chip" devices, and e) cross-selective electrochemical ssensor arrays, as a biomimetic model for "electronic tongues"
