Biogeoquímica del Pb-210 en llacs pirinencs i la seva utilització per a datar perfils sedimentaris de l'època industrial: estudi de la història de la contaminació

The study of sediment cores from pyrenaic lakes will provide valuable information about the history of contamination in our country. We want to obtain further knowledge on the sedimentary and contamination processes in the lakes by dating the obtained profiles using atmospheric Pb-210. For this purpose, it is necessary to study its geochemistry in the chosen environments and to model such processes. The observed results will be compared with other dating techniques available in the project. Futhermore, they will be compared with similar results from environments with a high anthropogenic impact.
