Study objective: to verify the characteristics of hematopoietic reconstitution in the different modalities of BM transplants and the quality of chimeras in allogeneic transplants with different type of donors. To study the minimal residual disease in marrow (MRD) in patients with neoplastic diseases before and after BM transplants. Design: in allogeneic BMT, chimerism will be evaluated after implant every 3 months during 2 years. In neoplastic diseases and evaluation of MRD before and after transplant every 3 months during 2 years will be performed. In autologous BMT the effects of purging on MRD will be verified. Setting: patients up to 15 years of age coming from all Spain and heaving a BMT. Patients: 80 trasplanted children in the BMT Unit of Children's Hospital Vall d'Hebron.
