Aspectes normatius, positius i empírics de la intervenció pública

The purpose of the project is to analyze several issues related to public policy from normative, positive and empirical perspective. The subjects to be studied are: the relationship between pensions -public and private-, savings and capital accumulation; political economy of the European Economic and Monetary Union; the regulation or privatization of public firms; the effects of technology policy on growth, and the evaluation of public projects. The final goal of this research is both to contribute to the existing body of economic analysis and to offer some further insights that could help policy-makers.
