Description
The AFINET Project (e-learning physics) is a project for the exploratoration of the processes involved when traditional teaching/educational texts are transformed into teaching/education hypertext, that is, when lineal teaching sequences become sequenced contents in a web environment for e-learning. Starting from the analysis and theoretical exploration of teaching and learning with Informatic Tools from a socioconstructivist perspective, we try to achieve results able to be applied in the elaboration of "good practices" about the on-line teaching and learning of concrete and interesting contents in Physics. The specific contents of Optics and Acoustics have been selected due to their importance in the comprenhension of many everyday phenomena in modern societies, which contrasts with the few impact that these contents generally have in the compulsory scientific education. Electomagnetism at University level is also inckuded in the process of generalizing results. Promoting an effective learning of Physics is considered for us a fundamental basis in the education and training of future citizens and particularly for the future scientists and technologists: it is in this sense that the learning of these important concepts within virtual environments has a great potential.
The coordination of two research teams with previous collaborative reserch experience (SEC2002-04254, see CVs) both regarding the use of technologies for teaching and regarding the Physics education at different levels (university and secondary school), will provide interesting and solid results that will be able to be applied by teachers and designers of teaching materials. The intention is to offer an alternative to the continous profiferation of web environments which have a very low real educational value, due to the general lack of knowledge necessary for transforming educational texts to educational hypertexts and also about screen readibiliy (...)
