Description
The work we are carrying out is about the syncristallization in organic binary systems. The components of the systems are materials with high latent heat and strong specific power in thermal exchanges, wich could allow the energy storage. In this research field, our work represents the prolongation of the theoretical study about the prediction, elaboration and characterization of molecular alloys. Crystallographic and thermodynamic studies will be performed. On the other hand, the study concerns the characterization of these materials for the energy storage in the domestic heat field. The forthcoming practical use will be studied in collaboration with Forces Elèctriques de Catalunya. In this context, we are now working with substituted benzene derivatives (high crystal-liquid heat of transition) and with polyalcohols (high crystal-plastic crystal heat of transition). We are going to star
