Project Details
Description
The aim of this project is to study the actions of the CCK-gastrin peptide family ion the gastrointestinal motility in the chicken. In vitro studies will be undertaken in order to find out the mechanisms which mediate the actions of such peptides on different gastrointestinal segments. In vivo studies are intended to define the relative importance of this family of peptides in the control of gastrointestinal motor activity in birds.
