Research interests

Dr. Sara Vinyals-Mirabent is a Lecturer at the Department of Communication, UPF. She holds a Ph.D. - CumLaude in Communication (2018), a Master's Degree in Advanced Studies of Social Communication (2013), and a bachelor degree in Advertising and Public Relations (2009) by Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Her research interests are centered on the areas of persuasive communication, with the focus on advertising and branding, holding a particular interest for place branding. Over the years, Sara has been a visiting scholar at Johannes Gutenberg Universität, Mainz, during 2020, is part of the research group Communication, Advertising, and Society (CAS) and has been part of several research projects funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.
