    (a) patient centered: 1) participation of expert patients in university teaching (either as expert patient illness narratives (EPIN) or as teachers), 2) participation of patients in clinical decision making; 3) development and validation of decision aids to informed and/or shared decision making.

    Educational management

    Doctor in Medical Anthropology, graduate in Social and Cultural Anthropology and Graduate in Nursing. Currently working as a permanent professor in the Department of Nursing at the UAB. Two basic state teaching tracks and two autonomic teaching tracks have been accredited. Responsible for the nursing curricula when transforming into the nursing degree at the UAB.

    Extensive teaching experience in undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs. Expert in qualitative research methodology and patient-centered care. Inclusion in the nursing degree of innovations such as the introduction of expert patients as narrators (EPIN) and as teachers; participation in Learning and Service (ApS) projects both in undergraduate nursing sillabus and in the Bachelor Thesis.
