My primary research interests revolve around the intricate dynamics of Migration Politics and Policies, with a specific focus on their intersection with the multifaceted processes of Autocratization and Democratization. This inquiry extends beyond geographical boundaries, delving into the Euro-Mediterranean region and beyond, where the interplay between migration and political transformations unveils critical insights.
Furthermore, my curiosity extends to understanding migrants' political trajectories, identities, and experiences within the contexts of both their host and home countries. I delve into the nuanced processes of re-socialization, exploring how these transformations impact political landscapes and contribute to or challenge prevailing patterns of polarization.
By exploring the intricate relationships between migration and political dynamics, my research aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the complex forces shaping contemporary societies. Through an interdisciplinary lens, I seek to contribute to the broader discourse on migration, democratization, and the socio-political implications that unfold on both macro and micro levels.
