    Ph.D. in Biology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, postdoc positions at the Univ. of Bristol (UK) and Aberdeen Univ. (Scotland, UK). Specialist in fish physiology and comparative physiology, and current research interests in the area of Fish stress and immune response. Health and welfare in fish. Leader of a Research group (AQUAB-FISH lab) of 8 scientists, including local and international researchers (currently from Portugal, Chile, Algeria, Iran, Pakistan and China).
