Specialist in fish physiology and comparative physiology, and current research interests in the area of Fish stress and immune response. Health and welfare in fish. Leader of a Research group (AQUAB-FISH lab) of 8 scientists, including local and international researchers (currently from Portugal, Chile, Iran and China).
