Research interests

Laura is a predoctoral researcher in the IASTE research group within the framework of societal metabolism (MuSIASEM). Her current work focuses on quantifying and analysing the nexus of time use, energy, and other materials at the country level, with special emphasis on the lock-in of existent stocks and trade-offs of dimensions. She explores possible transitions to sustainability while keeping “a good life” considering the implications of trade, biophysical and socio-economic constraints in the different sectors of the economy.
