Research interests
Winner of the IV "Manuel Giménez Abad" Prize for research work on political and territorial decentralization (2006).
He has participated in and directed various research projects, acting as principal investigator in those related to the delimitation of competences in electoral matters in decentralized States; fundamental rights as objective principles; control of media activity: self-regulation, independent administration and judicial control; the Government of the Universities; Institutional neutrality in the constitutional state.
In the last five years he has directed the Doctoral Theses of Alberto Andrés Vidal Álvarez, Systems of (regional) jurisdictional control of human rights, with a vision of the compliance and execution of the condemned sentences issued by both the European Court of Human Rights and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, read on 17/12/2021, Outstanding Laude and Eva Soria Puig, Contemporary Art and Copyright, read on 26/02/2021, Outstanding Laude and Extraordinary Doctorate Award.
He has participated full-time for more than 36 years in the teaching of Constitutional Law in different degrees at the UAB (Law, Labour Relations, Political Science), as well as doctorates and master's degrees in Law. Since its creation, he has been a teaching collaborator in Constitutional Law at the Open University of Catalonia and also at ESADE.
