Research interests
I completed my veterinary medicine degree at the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 1989. In 1991, I commenced my role as an associate professor at the same university. Later, I earned my doctorate in 1994, with a focus on blood cell analyzers validation in veterinary medicine. Later, I achieved the position of "profesor titular" at the same university (2016). I attained recognition as a Charter Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology in 2002.
My teaching endeavors primarily unfolded at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of the UAB on small animal clinical oncology, hematology, internal medicine and clinical pathology.
I am also co-director of the Animal Hematology Service (https://webs.uab.cat/shcv/) of the Veterinary Faculty of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona since 1916.
I have written 172 articles, 9 book chapters and 4 review articles. I have been director fo 10 PhD thesis and my H index (Scopus) is 28.
