    Personal profile

    Research interests

I am an Associate Professor in Physical Geography, with research interests focused on geography, spatial planning, and sustainability, particularly in mountain ecosystems and forest fires.

Through my involvement in various research projects and as a member of the Research Group on Mountain and Landscape Areas, my work primarily explores the evolution of vegetation in relation to climate change and anthropogenic pressures.

With my extensive experience in territorial planning, particularly as the coordinator of the Master's in Territorial Studies and Planning and the International Master's in Policies and Planning for Cities and Landscapes, I have worked on key topics such as water poverty (currently co-supervising a doctoral thesis) and sustainable mobility.

Additionally, I have developed innovative methodologies using tools like mapping and remote sensing, and collaborated with public policy initiatives to enhance territorial and environmental management in fire-affected areas.
