Researching women’s literary history and older age and ageing in the long c18; Gender, Queer, and Age studies. Interested in the intergenerational relationships that highlight the figure of the elderly woman mentor, the intersection of age, gender, and singlehood (the old maid), and the impact of age and ageing in the reception of elderly women writers.
