Enrique Hernández is an Associate Professor (Professor Agregat) at the Department of Political Science of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and a member of the Democracy, Elections, and Citizenship (DEC) research group.

Enrique is the principal investigator of the ERC StG project DEMOTRADEOFF that analyzes democratic trade-offs and how these might fuel political discontent.
