Researcher specialized in the intersection between visual culture, archive and memory. He holds a PhD in Film Studies from Concordia University Montreal, and a Master's Degree in Cinema Studies from San Francisco State University. He has published in international journals such as the Journal of Spanish Cultural Studies, Film History or Screen, and is co-editor of the book Global Perspectives on Amateur Film Histories and Cultures (Indiana University Press, 2021). He is the author of the essay biography Los años imposibles. Memoria inacabada de Juan Piqueras (Barlin Llibres and Filmoteca de València, 2022). He directed the research project “Artisans del cinema” at Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola in San Sebasti'n from 2018 to 2021 and worked as a debate coordinator at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB) from 2019 to 2023. He is currently a lecturer in the Department of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. In 2024 he curated the Centenary of amateur cinema in Catalonia for the Filmoteca de Catalunya.
