Research interests

Eduard Blasi Casagran is a lawyer specialising in digital law, privacy, data protection and artificial intelligence regulation, with more than fifteen years of professional experience. He is the founder of TechAndLaw Abogados and has held privacy and data protection responsibilities in multinational companies. He teaches on the Master’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Law at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and is an adjunct lecturer at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. From 2016 to 2025, he served as Third Vice-President of the Spanish Association of Privacy Professionals. In 2023, he received the Spanish Data Protection Agency Award for the dissemination of the fundamental right to data protection on social media through the TechAndLaw project.
