My research interests primarily focus on the field of pharmacoepidemiology within clinical pharmacology, with particular emphasis on the following areas:

1) Regulatory and marketing conditions of pharmaceuticals, involving the study of characteristics and the regulatory framework for drug marketing. This includes examining approval procedures and marketing conditions.

2) Methodology of clinical trials and critical analysis of scientific evidence supporting the utilization of medications.

3) Utilization of medications across diverse populations and healthcare settings, exploring the impact of medication use on clinical outcomes and the quality of life of patients.

4) Medication safety and the development of pharmacovigilance strategies in clinical practice.

5) Drug pricing and financing decisions, assessing costs associated with different pharmaceuticals, analyzing drug expenditures, and exploring the relationship between drug utilization, health outcomes, and expenditures in the public health system.

1) Research projects: Active involvement in over twenty competitive research projects spanning Europe, Spain, and Catalonia.
2) Doctoral Theses and research works. Effective management of doctoral theses and research endeavors, including the supervision of five completed doctoral theses and over twenty research or end-of-degree theses.
3) Scientific publications: Authorship of more than one hundred articles in indexed scientific journals, with over fifty published in international journals and more than twenty-five in first-quartile journals according to JCR or SJR.
4) Teaching and training: Dynamic engagement as an educator in scientific training activities within postgraduate courses.
5) Congress and Conference participation: Active participation in over a hundred communications at various congresses, along with contributions as a speaker in roundtable discussions and as an invited lecturer.
6) Evaluation and review: Valuable contributions as an evaluator within technical-scientific committees, membership on doctoral thesis review boards, and as a reviewer of manuscripts for esteemed scientific journals.
