Personal profile

Research interests

I am currently researching early modern British literature (broadly defined as 16th and 17th century) as it intersects with the history of race and racialization. I also have extensive research and teaching experience in adaptation (particularly of Shakespeare), postcolonial studies, queer theory, critical race studies, Feminist approaches to literature and history, and ecology/environmental humanities. I am working on a book length project on metaphors of scale in early modern literature as they intersect with representations of race and the environment.
