    Personal profile

    Research interests

I am interested in the eco-social and eco-political facets of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and how they can contribute to more just and sustainable stormwater management strategies. From an Urban Political Ecology perspective, I analyze them as socio-technical and political systems, regarding its governance processes and structures, environmental tradeoffs and environmental justice issues. For this, I investigate NbS's community acceptance, stakeholder perceptions and user's future expectations.

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Geography at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (financed by FI 2020 funds). I am also part of the CAT 2020 winner research group, under the project entitled "Socio-ecological reshaping of European Cities and Metropolitan Areas".
