Professor and researcher at the Faculty of Medicine, Autonomous University of Barcelona.

Passionate about the study of the human body, my research focuses on how movement and different medical or rehabilitation techniques influence the locomotor system and fascial tissue. To address these questions, I combine two complementary approaches: the in vitro model (cadaveric anatomy) and the in vivo model (healthy volunteers, athletes, and individuals with frailty).

I am the founder and principal investigator of the ACTIUM Anatomy Research Group, where we promote projects aimed at advancing anatomical knowledge and its clinical and functional applications.
