Organisation profile

Organisation profile

The vision of WavesLab Group (Wireless Technologies Group) is the ideation of new devices that are born from functional materials which display structural features and remarkable properties, highly suitable to address broadband mobile challenges, through implementing tailored design methods bringing out the best of these technologies. WavesLab will meet with a family of functional materials that may become game-changing players, as key enabling technologies, underpinning the future evolution of wireless communications.
Leaps in technology are necessary to enable these advancements in device performance. From a holistic approach, our research proposal focuses on the exploration and understanding of advanced multifunctional materials and their relation with the development of advanced devices to cope with the huge challenge of RF-FEM Evolution. These application-oriented materials are responsible for the characteristic function that the device or the component must undertake.
