Organisation profile
Is a research group in the field of Industrial Ecology made up of faculty from the UAB (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), postdoctoral and doctoral researchers, and technicians, as well as Inèdit Innovació, an spin-off company promoted by Sostenipra and dedicated to facilitating the use, transfer, application and exploitation of the group’s knowledge and capabilities. It is a recognized SGR research group since 2005, and it belongs to the Institute of Environmental Science and Technology (ICTA) of the UAB. Within the multidisciplinary field of industrial ecology, Sostenipra aims to develop, adapt and apply tools to promote sustainability and environmental protection with a systemic, life cycle approach. The research group is organized into 3 main areas: 1) resource management for a circular economy; 2) sustainable food systems; and 3) Integrated system analysis of urban nature-based solutions
