The Institute of Education Sciences (ICE) of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona is an institution rooted in the territory and collaborator of the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Its function is to link the University with all levels of the education system, developing an activity linked to the ongoing training of teachers, the training of trainers, student guidance, educational innovation and the transfer of knowledge.

The ICE, therefore, acts as a network of networks committed to the University and the territory and as the backbone of training and innovation in the educational field.
