El grup de recerca d’Estudis en Innovació, Governança i Polítiques Públiques (i-GOP) reuneix a un nombrós grup d’investigadores i investigadors de diversos perfils i experiència en diferents àrees de coneixement de les ciències socials.
Agrupats entorn l’Institut de Govern i Polítiques Públiques – IGOP – aquest grup està fermament compromès amb l’avenç científic, la formació superior i la transferència del coneixement. Els àmbits i problemàtiques d’interès estan relacionats amb la innovació de les polítiques públiques i la governança de sistemes socials i polítics complexos en perspectiva comparada, i des de diferents nivells de govern. Aquest grup aspira a generar i compartir coneixement sobre els grans reptes de les democràcia contemporànies. i-GOP lidera i participa en un elevat número de projectes d’investigació d’àmbit europeu i nacional. Manté també una estreta relació amb la investigació aplicada vinculada a les administracions públiques i entitats socials.
