Aquest'equip d'investigació és el successor del grup de recerca (GRC) 2017 SGR 1765. El tema principal de recerca d'aquest grup es l'estudi de diferents aspectes de la política macroeconòmica, prestant especial atenció al funcionament del mercats de treball, al paper de l'educació, a la mala assignació dels recursos en el desenvolupament econòmic i a algunes qüestions economètriques. Més concretament, els temes que volem analitzar es refereixen a (1) els costos de cerca en el mercat laboral i l'efecte riquesa; (2) Migració i ocupació sota una consolidació fiscal; (3) Centralització de la fixació de salaris i poder de mercat; (4) Participació laboral de persones grans; (5) Educació i migració, (6) Xocs i bretxes de gènere en el desenvolupament i l'educació infantil; (7) Desenvolupament i desigualtat; (8) El mercat de la terra, assignació de recursos i productivitat agrícola; (9) Mecanismes de transmissió de xocs macroeconòmics; (10) Funció de versemblança i moments neuronals simulats.
