El nostre grup de recerca és multidisciplinar. Es desenvolupa un projecte centrat en la preparació de diferents materials amb l’objectiu principal d’assolir reptes de la societat. La nostra recerca es pot classificar en quatre línies principals: a) generació de compostos, materials i processos foto-actius (polimeritzacions foto-induïdes, materials foto-funcionals i interruptors moleculars), b) preparació de materials nano-particulats de metalls o sílice per catàlisi, aplicacions biomèdiques (nanopartícules de sílice i plata) i sensors (dendrimers); c) molècules fluorades i materials per recobriments o d’utilització a casa; d) síntesi de polímers emprant nous catalitzadors (benzoxazines, cianoacrilats, resines epoxi).
