Entrepreneurship, Management and Performance Group (EMPg)

Organisation profile

Organisation profile

The main objective of this research group lies in the analysis of the determinants and effects of new ventures, their marketing strategies and results, including economic, social, and sustainable performance. Also, the diversity dimension (different types of entrepreneurs / companies -female entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial universities, social entrepreneurship, immigrant entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, etc.-). and the international dimension (new international ventures and the comparison between firms from different countries and contexts) are considered. The group is made up of researchers from the field of management and has a consolidated trajectory of research, with both scholarly publications in the highest level academic journals and competitive research  projects, as a result of the collaboration of their members in the Research Master MAREB and their participation in the IDEM international doctoral program at the UAB, and the international extensions.
