The Department of Applied Economics (henceforth DAE) is the entity in charge of the organisation and coordination of the applied economics cursus. Research development in the area of applied economics is also part of its task. The DAE-UAB comprises the Faculty and researchers, fellows, research collaborators, doctoral (PhD) students, and administrative staff and assigned tasks. And should the situation indicate so, by other members of the university community and within the clauses of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona statutes.
