Organisation profile

Scientific activity of consolidated research group Coding, Compression and Security (2001-
SGR-219, 2005-SGR-319, 2009-SGR-1224, 2014-SGR-691, 2017-SGR-00463) aims at researching
algorithms and prototypes providing reliable, efficient and secure data transmission.
- Reliability (channel coding): error correcting codes.
- Efficiency (source coding): lossless, near-lossless and lossy data compression.
- Security (networks and distributed applications): secure and emerging networks.
