El CERI-M engloba un grup d’investigadors de diferents àmbits de les ciències socials,
convençuts que els reptes que planteja l’abordatge científic de fenòmens socials complexos com
la mobilitat i les migracions exigeixen la recerca interdisciplinària i la suma de sinergies.
Fou reconegut i dotat amb finançament durant les convocatòries SGR2014 i SGR2017. Acredita
criteris d’excel·lència i rellevància en base a:
· el lideratge de recerca de qualitat a través de projectes competitius, convenis de recerca
aplicada i col·laborativa i publicacions acadèmiques d’impacte internacional
· la qualitat de la seva oferta formativa (postgraus, màsters, cursos d’extensió
universitària...)
· la internacionalització i atracció de talent a través de reclutament d’investigadors/es

- Human mobility: international migratory movements, management mechanisms of flows, and global governance of migrations
- Legal regulation of migrations, international protection, and reception of refugees
- Ethnic minorities, recognition policies, and new identities
- Equality and non-discrimination: racism, xenophobia, and ethnic-racial discrimination in various areas (education, work, housing, social services, etc.)
- Public administrations and the third sector facing the challenges of diversity management and social inclusion at the local level
