Resum

Aerobiology research work began in 1979 in the Botanic Unit of the Freestanding University of Barcelona with a study of pollen contents in Sadabell (Secane, 1987) conducted by J.M. Roure. In 1983, aerobiology was a standard field of research and in 1997, it was decided to disclose the atmospheric pollen data in Catalonia (North Eastern territory of the Iberian peninsula) in a report named "xarxa Aerobiologica de Catalunya".
