Resum

During the last decade, the recurring trait which best defines the labour market in Southern Europe has been the extraordinary growth of the rate of women's participation in this market and the triumph of values accompanying the materiality of industrialisation. Women have assumed that what really matters is their contribution to the production process, and that their presence in reproductive activities is inexistent or irrelevant to social development. -English summary
