Resum
Motivated by recent interest in polarization encoding, we present an image encryption/decryption scheme based on polarized light which provides additional flexibility in key encryption designs, and double random phase masks. In this scheme, the primary image is encrypted relying on stokes-Mueller formalism by using two spatial light modulators (SLMs). With the proposed method it is possible to control the polarization ellipse parameters and the rotation angles of the SLMs. Numerical simulation is performed for gray-scale images to demonstrate the validity of this new proposed method. The performance measurement parameters mean-square-error and peak-signal-to-noise ratio have been calculated to verify the feasibility of the scheme.
