Resum
November-December 1995 mobilizations in France against Plan Juppé were the first great revolt against neoliberalism in a European country. Public sector workers were the core of a protest movement based in an articulated combination of strikes and demonstrations. Particular claims were inserted in a broader perspective in defense of public sector and general interest. November-December 1995 represented the beginning of a protest cycle against neoliberalism in France that has shown its increasing lost of legitimacy.
